Al's film, Friends and Fast Times, began in the early 70s in suburban Chicago with Al and his friends filming incessantly as young teenagers. Come November first, it's less socially acceptable to display your rubber dead body props and plastic skull decorations. Coffin Crusin' is about a small club of Carolinians that refuse to conform to cultural norms by not putting away their caskets for the other 11 months of the year.
