In rural California, pink-haired Michelle Laswell, and her teenage brother, Clay, navigate their stark community in search of a stolen bike. When Clay spots his bike in a neighbors backyard, Michelle breaks in to retrieve it. Back home, Michelle and Clay are bombarded by their neighbors who demand the bike back.
