Trapped in suburban limbo is Maggie, a recent college grad with dreams of greatness on the stage. However, a degree in drama doesnt pay the bills, as Maggies mother, a righteous community leader, wont let her soon forget. Instead of applying for jobs, Maggie gets cast as the lead of a controversial new musical -- about abortion! -- in hopes of pleasing her mother. But when her mother vows to shut down the leftist parade of sin, Maggie must choose between her responsibilities and her dream.
